Frequently Asked Questions

Volume is the amount of 3D space occupied by an object, measured in cubic units (m³, cm³, ft³, litres). 1 litre = 1,000 cm³ = 0.001 m³.
V = (4/3)πr³. For a sphere with radius 3m: V = (4/3) × 3.14159 × 27 ≈ 113.1 m³.
V = πr²h, where r is the base radius and h is the height. A cylinder of radius 2m and height 5m has volume π × 4 × 5 ≈ 62.83 m³.
1 m³ = 1,000 litres. Multiply cubic metres by 1,000 to get litres. 1 cm³ = 1 ml, so 1,000 cm³ = 1 litre.
