Frequently Asked Questions

Pressure is the force applied per unit area: P = F ÷ A. It is measured in Pascals (Pa) in the SI system, where 1 Pa = 1 N/m². Other common units include bar (1 bar = 100,000 Pa), psi (pounds per square inch), and atm (atmospheres, 1 atm ≈ 101,325 Pa).
Divide by 100,000. 1 bar = 100,000 Pa = 100 kPa. Standard atmospheric pressure is approximately 1.01325 bar or 101,325 Pa.
P = F ÷ A, where P is pressure in Pascals, F is force in Newtons, and A is area in m². Rearranged: F = P × A and A = F ÷ P.
